Second rule…. Is that there are no more rules. Really anything goes.

Garden fight club is for getting dangerous without any red tape and nonsense like wearing protective clothing. It’s also about making the keep fit fun! 

40 sets of 30 second circuits of:
Medicine ball throw 10lbs

Battle Rope

Wood chopper with axe

Press ups 

Weapon train on punch bag

Throwing axe

After watching the above video you might be surprised to learn that my axe throwing skills have actually improved! The last session saw me coming frighteningly close to launching them over the garage roof onto oblivious passers by. 

Living in London means that I’m always stuck for space. I’m so grateful to our friend Frank who makes an arena out of his lovely garden so we can go all viking on each other. 

Odins benevolence shone through the sky today as we hacked and parried our way across the frosty lawns of Bounds Green. 

Where am I going with this? 

I guess I just feel that when it comes to finding time and space to train, where there’s a will there’s a way.
